E29 Be Prepared!

Recent shootings in public spaces, notably shopping malls have our Protecting Your Assets hosts Luciano Cedrone and Brian Claman discussing the importance of being prepared. The value of conducting a risk assessment to understand the potential threats and risks your business may face; mitigating those risks with policies, procedures and training; and practicing those preparedness plans to ensure they will work when needed.

No one enjoys planning for a flood, an active attacker or any other threat to business; especially if we want to believe that "it'll never happen to you!"

But as the old adage goes, failing to plan is planning to fail. Take the time to review and assess your preparedness plans so that if and when that "bad" day comes, you are ready for it!
